hier kann man in die Platte reinhören und sie für ummerunterladen: "About Balthazar Getty has been making music in various capacities for the past 25 years including producing the highly acclaimed Ringside project as well as various hip hop and electronic albums. “It was extremely liberating," says Getty, describing a manic three weeks in which he holed up in his pool house-cum-home studio, self-producing an album using a Pro Tools rig that his wife and close friend Joaquin Phoenix together bought him, roped in a slew of his talented musician friends for impromptu recording sessions, and walked away three weeks later with an organically created debut album under the moniker of his new project, Solardrive."

Polly's Debut fand ich richtig großartig jetzt ist das Nachfolgealbum da und klingt vielversprechend, aber hört selber: Polly meint dazu: "My new album Arrows is about a journey, and moving forward. It's very transient, and I think you can hear that both musically and lyrically. When I started writing it, I wanted to create something that was sonically interesting, with instrumentals that spiral off into different worlds and breakdowns that suck you in like a black hole. I wanted the instrumentation and the sound of the synths to reflect the transience, often moving and morphing into new beasts. I love textures and layers and the idea that you may hear a sound once in the whole album, and it will never come back again. Being in the studio is my most sacred place, I have been writing and recording this album for the last three and a half years, although in my head there will always be enough room for one more synthesizer. It really is finished now, and it will be out soon, so here is some of the gear I enjoyed using along the way..."
